Hello,
I am trying my first install and am using the snapshot from today. I was unable to install per the install guide using my web address/catalog/install
So, I did a manual install using PHPmyadmin and the tables and database are created fine, however when i try to access any of my pages i get the following error:
1046 - No Database Selected
select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration
[TEP STOP]
I edited my configuration.php file to include my login name, database name, password, etc...
Also, I am a little confused. When I unzipped the package, I have an admin folder and a catalog folder, but they both have and additional folder below them: example: admim/admin and catalog/catalog. Is this correct?
Finally, my last question is, should the admin and catalog folders be installed on my web server under the root or under my public_html folder?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, but once I get it up and running, I should be good to go.
Thanks
Josh
