When I try to checkout i get this error

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for ***@cccrmg.com in c:\web\catalog\includes\classes\email.php on line 500

What do i do?

there is a no bumping rule :!:

I don't think the problem lies with osc, your mail server obviously doesn't want to send it out....I could be wrong hough.

do i have to run a smtp or anything? where do i put the smtp info in.. i might be doing that wrong.

Try setting your email setting under admin/configuration/e-mail options from "SMTP" to "sendmail".

You may have better luck that way

Have modified any of the code in any of files listed in the errors or is this a clean install?

What kind of server are you running your site on?

is it Unix or Windows?

Try this.

Try setting your email setting under admin/configuration/e-mail options "send e mail" to 'false' from 'true'.

You will narrow your problem.

OK I'm not totally 100% sure with windows but you may have to supply your mail server address, username and password. That way it will allow the server to send out emails on your behalf. I use Unix and it is a lot different. Maybe someone with windows experience can advise you on this one.

Unfortunately my experience in this side of things is very limited. I have looked through my set up etc and can't find the area to configure.

Hopefully someone out there will be able to provide the answer for you.
